This is the second time I read a novel by Alex Cousseau and therefore this is the second time I am surprised by her style. There is something very surprising in the pen of the author, on the edge of the strange and ambiguous tone he uses. I always spork seem to be in a poetic narrative, not to know or understand where the author is coming from but at the same time it is an effective reading and which I take great pleasure.
I had no trouble getting into the characters, to make them mine and to imagine moving in the scene of the story because it is a very visual text. This sensitive story leaves to hear the voice of a teenager, she speaks of love and friendship and leads us to the act of making love, as a passage to adulthood. We follow the narrator in his relationship with others, with his father over the dog with whom he grew up, with his best friend and Zoe. 5 months will elapse 5 stories we are offered a month and each time jump Tobias has evolved and its love affair too.
