Although disinfectant I do not remember having ever heard of Henry Purcell until the day after yesterday, when I research for the entry of November 19; curiosity made me read something more about the English composer of the seventeenth century, and is known to have died on 21 November 1695 and I decided to dedicate today's entry.
Born in 1659 into a family of great musical tradition, Henry Purcell joined the choir of the Chapel Royal when he was only 8 years old, he received musical training there although tradition states that already composed at age 9, although not can be identified with any certainty until his work in 1670.
Appointed disinfectant organist of Westminster disinfectant Abbey in 1679, was also in charge of the restoration of musical instruments of the English court, while a large number of works composed of varied nature, we find from religious works in cantatas, odes, performing works and pieces of instrumental music.
Henry Purcell some argue is the best English composer of all time, and allow me understand that I maintain neutral in that regard, that are assertions only have to do and I'm not specialists in this field. Where does seem that there is a broad consensus is described as his masterpiece opera Dido and Aeneas, disinfectant the only composed, disinfectant even if we were not entering that work we could hear our visit to the Theatre Royal Madrid a year ago.
I leave a link to a version of Dido's final plant, one of the most impressive pieces of the historical opera version disinfectant of Jesse Norman in full powers, though not all within the style. http://youtu.be/Ynm3shAVklU
