Adventure novel that plunges led bulbs the reader into the world of Canadian spies, this first volume of what will be a series, Ariel school spies, offers a mix of adrenaline and daily life with the secret to menu state, questioning love, quarrels with friends, of espionage and strategy techniques! Filled with twists, the novel can reach intermediate players from age 10. I think
I must say that my first impression was mixed. In fact, if I loved the first chapter puts us right into the action and gives us an idea of the style Evelyne Gauthier, I quickly asked about the target audience and the age of the heroine. While the editor provides the novel with 12-14 years, it seems more appropriate to me 10-12 for the coverage that this will attract more public, for the wicked are not so bad (far Cherub) and also because Ariel does not seem to age 16. Is it for technical reasons (after all, it is called to carry out dangerous missions) that the author has given this age, I do not know, but it does not seem to me credible, both in its language and in its thoughts and actions.
But hey, that aside, I found this novel very nice. Ariel is an engaging heroine who has character and manages to make the reader easily imagine the world in which she finds herself. Evelyne led bulbs Gauthier has mixing action and humor feelings with tact and I particularly liked the action led bulbs scenes where Ariel must perform missions (in a school setting or not) are very visual. In addition, led bulbs I liked that it is not question FBI but the Canadian Intelligence Service is suddenly closer to young readers here.
