MEER, Belgium, Oct. 25, 2013 — Flir Systems has added the E40 and T420 packages to its range of entry-level R&D-grade thermal imaging kits for academic teaching and industrial research labs. The kits include a thermal imaging camera, advanced optics and proprietary ResearchIR software. Unlike thermocouplers, spot pyrometers and IR thermometers, healthy lunch recipes the E40 and T420 kits give real-time noncontact readings of up to 76,800 repeatable temperature measurements in each thermographic image. Temperatures from −20 to 650 °C are visualized with an accuracy of ±2% and sensitivity healthy lunch recipes up to <0.045 °C. The intuitive software provides a comprehensive set of acquisition, diagnostic and data-sharing tools. Its customizable, savable work spaces enable the user to arrange healthy lunch recipes how images, data, charts and plots are displayed. Connected to the cameras via a USB link, the software allows fast viewing of thermal snapshots and movie files. It supports options such as pre- and post-trigger recording based on user-configured start/stop times, scene temperature thresholds and frame rate.
