In early March I received the invitation to test two bio products from store Ecoera, and did not have to read twice email to know exactly what I want to test! The truth is that I had heard about soap nuts, and I do not comprehend well what's wrong with them. I wanted to try them, mainly because they are organic and hypoallergenic solution for washing clothes, and we have a Isotra at all pleasant with chemical detergents.
When I married, wash with Ariel. I always thought we have a good detergent and no problems I had done before. My husband but her cause some allergies, but we did not realize it then. Only when well washed goof off with Ariel hainutele made them "gift" silver boy, then a newborn, a splendid pyoderma, and when he dropped altogether, they disappeared and mysterious husband's allergies.
For S., at first, we did not dare use any detergent. Neither the washing goof off machine no longer dared to bag clothes. Wash them with white soap flakes, which is scratching maternal grandmother conscientiously at hand.
However, expecting the little F., I could not recall my story rebel maternity goof off pyoderma, that cost S. antibiotic treatment in the first week of life. So I enjoyed a lot when I was offered the opportunity to test bio nuts soap and bleach.
Well, no soap in the form of nuts, as I thought when I first heard them, but ... Mukorossi Sapindus tree fruits or "soap tree" that grows freely in Nepal and the Himalayan foothills. The skin of the fruit contains a natural saponin in contact with hot water that is released into the water.
It is an economic and ecological detergent. At washing up to 60 degrees Celsius washing nuts can be used in three different washes washing goof off machine as saponin not shell out the entire first washing (description taken from the site Ecoera). More information and explanations can be read here. A packet of 500 grams of soap nuts now cost 17 lei (reduced from 22), and is sufficient for 75 washes.
With sodium percarbonate bleach, on the basis of the oxygen ingredient is> 30% of the sodium percarbonate,> 30% sodium bicarbonate, goof off <30% soda ash. It can be used for diapers and baby clothes. Here's the description on the website:
Sodium percarbonate is the active ingredient in the bleach, goof off it whitens and removes stains on laundry and decomposes in contact with water - sodium carbonate or soda and laundry - hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water), oxygen based bleach . It does not contain chlorine, phosphates. Remove stains goof off from tea, coffee, red wine, grass, fruit stains, sweat and blood. goof off
I started testing them in the room- even had many clothes that had gathered in laundry baskets. Moreover, in our home with two children in diapers and one who loves to play in the mud, washing machine goes daily (with few exceptions). I put in the bag special nuts and put it in the car between clothes. To smell nice, you can add a few drops of essential oil directly on the cloth or diluted with water in the softener compartment. Children wash clothes at 40 degrees, a program for an hour and 20 minutes.
I first washing children's clothes, using 3-4 nuts and bleach (about a tablespoon). When I laid out to dry, Ada and I noticed that we use on diapers post Babeţi for Cati (which are full of stains that never came out well to washing), are more white and visibly stains faded. It's old fruit and vegetable patches that we did not get them all with nothing (but not strive too hard, because at the next meal will dirty rags again). The second time I washed a car colorful clothes, where we used just nuts. The clothes came out clean and odorless.
The next day, I washed towels goof off and bed linen. This time, I accidentally put more bleach (more than the recommended dose). The result: clean linen and white, but with a smell like chlorine. The smell disappeared completely during drying in the open air, so any inconvenience this side.
Last car tested was the husband of the whites at 60 degrees. It is true that old stains did not go (not out any detergent as usual), but were more white shirts than usual.
Soap nuts do not remove stains, but bleach to remove their help, especially if you put them to soak a tablespoon of powder goof off in advance. How I did not use chemical stain remover, like Vanish, and up to discover an organic solution I have not used anything like this on children's goof off clothes are happy with the result.
